Job Title: House Manager – DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration)
Rate Type: Hourly
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential homes for individuals with developmental disabilities under the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). In this role, you will ensure the well-being, safety, and quality of life of residents while promoting independence and community integration.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and lead a team of direct support professionals (DSPs) in providing personalized care and support to residents with developmental disabilities.
2. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that residents’ needs and preferences are met.
3. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment in the residential home, including monitoring the maintenance of the physical premises.
4. Manage household budgets, expenses, and procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of the home.
5. Facilitate resident activities and outings, promoting socialization, recreation, and community engagement.
6. Serve as a liaison between residents, their families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams, addressing concerns and coordinating services as needed.
7. Ensure compliance with DDA regulations, licensing requirements, and quality assurance standards, conducting audits and reviews as needed.
8. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to staff, promoting professional development and best practices in care delivery.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in disability services, with a focus on developmental disabilities and residential care.
3. Knowledge of DDA regulations, policies, and procedures, with experience in residential management and supervision.
4. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
7. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
