Job Title: Assistant Director – DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration)
Rate Type: Hourly
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director to support the oversight and management of our Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) program within our disability home care organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Program Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing program goals, objectives, and policies to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
2. Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, including direct support professionals, case managers, and administrative personnel.
3. Assist in the coordination of client assessments, intake processes, and individualized care planning, ensuring person-centered approaches.
4. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
5. Collaborate with community partners, advocacy groups, and funding agencies to enhance program services and support opportunities for clients.
6. Ensure compliance with DDA regulations, licensing requirements, and quality assurance standards, conducting audits and reviews as needed.
7. Serve as a liaison with families, guardians, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
8. Assist with the management of program resources, including staffing, budgeting, and equipment.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in disability services, with a focus on developmental disabilities and home care.
3. Knowledge of DDA regulations, policies, and procedures, with experience in program management and supervision.
4. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
6. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve in complex situations.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
8. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
